So, Get This...
I’ve got these two loungers in my living room, and my cats like to sleep on the backs of the headrests. I’m sitting in one of them, laptop in front of me and trying to write, and Dusk is pushing on the back of my head with his paws. He’s not begging for attention, he’s just stretching and kneading.

A rape victim, abused by her stepfather who is also responsible for the death of her child, is being sentenced to public flogging for “sex outside marriage.” This petition is only just over half its needed signatures. Punishing a rape victim because of a technicality is an absurdity of the highest caliber.
